Description

Here's the computer outlined version of "And So I Wait....". This really isn't all that great, cause of 2 reasons.

1. I outlined it using a mouse, and im not good at outlining.
2. I'm terrible at shading.

This is really the best I can do. If someone would be kind enough to show me the proper way to shade correctly, that would help.

Like your art and the way you portrait perspective, and I've got some tips for your mousework you might find useful.

1. DONT USE MS PAINT! (not saying you do, but if you do, dont.)
2. If you do use MS Paint, search for a GNU image program called The Gimp. Its very much like photoshop and its free.
3. If you use photoshop, float and lock your original image on the background and then trace over it with a transparent layer and soft edge line tools. The same principles apply with The Gimp, but if you have photoshop, its better.
4. Use smaller strokes with the mouse. You made lots of longish lines when you made your picture which makes it look a little blockier than normal.
and 5. You can improve on your shadowing by using a bright light in a dark room and you can sketch your hand. It sounds dumb, but when you do it, it helps you see how the placement of objects and light sources affects the shadows directly. Its better than just thinking about it if you think about it. ^^,

And btw, like the sunnies! Or are they just glasses?
